About This Mission

ReSeed-8 was conducted in an area affected by wildfires the previous summer. The landscape showed limited natural regeneration, with large patches of bare soil and sparse vegetation. The mission aimed to accelerate ecological recovery by deploying seed bombs containing native trees and pollinator-friendly plants, supporting both reforestation and biodiversity restoration. Lessons from prior missions were applied to optimize seed placement and flight planning in this recently burned terrain.
